DESIGN 
JURO JEREMIC, President

Mr. Juro Jeremic arrived in Canada in 1974 as an accomplished architect with solid international experience acquired through his work in Switzerland, France and the Adriatic coast. He has also worked on projects for Japan, Portugal and the Caribbean (through a London liaison). During his quarter-century long experience, he has worked on many diverse projects either as a member of professional, multi-disciplinary teams, or as an investor and developer of his own ventures.

In recent years of his professional life, he has dedicated himself to numerous contracts abroad in Germany, Switzerland, Greece and the Caribbean (he speaks several languages), and to new designs employing technologies maximizing a healthy lifestyle and an environmentally friendly use of materials in the human abode. Through his extra-curricular holistic studies, he is applying inspiration to a new way of resolving the contradiction between the use of conventional (recyclable) materials and the new materials emerging from modern computer-generated technologies.

A sample of his work follows: World-wide airport facilities projects from Moscow to Algeria, United Arab Emirates and Nigeria (CAIM); nuclear power plant projects from Canada to Romania (CANATOM); industrial buildings, design of various hotels and resorts from the Caribbean Islands to Mexico and Honduras; in Montreal, involvement in interior design projects such as hotel-restaurants and bars and other ventures involving his role as owner-developer of various building restoration projects. 

In summary, Mr. Jeremic is well-positioned to establish a thriving commerce joinging up the Internet Revolution with Architectural Design.

BUSINESS 
NOVAK ZEPINA, DSA.,MBA - Vice-President, Operations

Upon his arrival in Canada in 1966 equiped with a diploma in European Law and studies at l'Ecole Superieure de l'Architecture de Paris, Mr. Novak Dzepina's rich and varied career background continued with his graduation from Accountancy at McGill University in 1976, a diploma in Administrative Science at University of Montreal in 1989, and an MBA in Finance and International Administration from the same university in 1985-6. He has constantly upgraded his education ever since by attending  extra-curricular events, and seminars in international negotiation, tax planning and business valuation.

He completed French language schooling at l'Alliance francaise during a sojourn in Paris, France 1963-66, and speaks English, Spanish and several Slavic languages fluently.

During his career Novak has occupied the positions of Deputy Controller, Controller and Administrator for renowned North American companies such as Trizec Ltd., CFCF Cable company, Videotron and others. He was promoted to the position of Controller at the helm of the administrative division of CFCF Cable with a budget of several million dollars and was a part of the team which implemented pay-TV services in Canada. 

Subsequently, as Administrative Director of Videotron Inc. in Montreal, he managed several departments and a staff of thirty. Here he reorganized the credit department which grew to 450,000 subscribers, while reducing dollar receivables by half in a one-year period. At Trizec Inc., from Calgary, where he was promoted to the position of Deputy Controller of Eastern Division while the economy was diving into recession, he was responsible for financial reporting and the budget. He helped improve internal control and the reporting process by standardizing records and procedures and succeeded in reducing personnel turnover at this time of crisis.

At various times during his career Novak worked as a consultant in the field of international trade, business development and financing projects. For Consultex Inc. in Montreal, he provided market analyses for foreign investors. He negotiated and secured a one million-dollar loan from the Development Bank of Canada for the Chomedy Inn expansion in Laval, Québec. For Proneq Inc., a company from Laurentides, Québec, he provided contacts with several export customers in Spain; for Laura-Bec Inc., from St-Donat, Québec, he arranged the sale of brick-making machinery to Sidbec-Dosco company in Montreal. 

He helped in providing financial and government assistance to several companies during his career and his skills in the art of administration and business development are complementary to the talents necessary for  future growth.

HIGH TECH 
BRANDON KANDER, Computers

American born, Mr. Brandon Kander has worked in the field of education for 15 years and is presently specialized in Business English Language Courses. His primary vocation, however, involves internet technologies and website development. His interest in the computer field dates back to 1986, and very early launched him on his road to mastery of these technologies.

He started up La Scena Musicale's website in 1997 which has was recently voted the world's third best website devoted to classical music. He has developed commercial websites dedicated to real-estate and education, and in addition, administers a private website devoted to TESL and has attracted much business through it.

His thorough knowledge of Microsoft FrontPage renders him well suited to a career in Web Administration. His 20-year partnership with Mr. Juro Jeremic in construction, interior graphic design and handling professional correspondence makes him indispensible for a company such as Synt Ateliers which is orienting itself towards the Internet. His rich experience of foreign countries during his professional career completes his profile as well-adapted for his role with Synt Ateliers.

DESIGN CONSULTING
WOLFGANG TRIEBSCH, Architect Consultant - International Consulting Team Coordinator

Wolfgang Triebsch has more than 30 years experience as an architect, designer and planner. Upon completion of his studies at the State Engineering School, Faculty of Architecture in Darmstadt, Germany in 1967, Wolfgang started an architectural design and planning practice in Darmstadt and the Rhein-Main region. 

Mr. Triebsch is fluent in German and English, is a member of the Order of Architects in Brandenburg, Berlin and a member of the Association of Freelance Architects (VFA) in Germany. He is also an affiliate of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada and a member of the International Marina Institute.

Upon arriving in Toronto in 1968, Mr. Triebsch started his North American career with a private practice established under the name Triebsch-Xiggords International Joint Venture, an engineering & planning office. His rich professional career continued when in 1974 he became Project Architect for a 1,000-room hotel project in Montreal and an inhouse consultant for the S.B. MacLaughlin Group.

Since then, Mr. Triebsch has oriented his career towards international projects drawing inspiration from North American technology and his experiences there. His research has involved different fields of design, such as environmentally friendly water treatment systems and concrete floating docks/systems for marinas.

Wolfgang is also doing research on project implementation for various North American and European hotel groups including Kempinski Hotels and Resorts. His field of action is presently focused on projects in Germany and the Berlin area, Greece, Spain and other Mediterranean locations. He has ongoing files on locations in Chicago, Miami, New York, Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver, and the Caribbean. His orientation, based on his international experience has reinforced his sense of architectural responsibility to create projects which "belong"! 

A sample of his work follows: His urban planning projects have included participation in the "Spreebogen," Berlin international competition; the International Competition for Karlsruhe; in collaboration with the UNDP Prince of Wales Institute of Architecture, an International Planning Forum for Caribbean Port Cities; sites in Ontario and Quebec, and the Caribbean Islands. His hotel / resort portfolio consists of a 120-room Eco Resort in Brandenberg; various projects in the Montreal area involving Kempinsky Hotels and Resorts; others in Nevis, Grenada, St. Kitts, in Antigua, such as a 250-room addition to the famous St. James Club there; the Intercontinental Hotel in Kinshasa; a large hotel and mixed use project in Southfield, Detroit; a resort hotel in Kalamata, Greece, among many other minor projects. Among his numerous office building projects the following should be emphasised: "Sparkasse" (Bank) in Eberswalde, Germany; Bank of Nevis; various public works offices near Berlin; in Montreal, the redesign of the Simpson's store; corrective surgery on "Cours Mt. Royal"; the Telecom office complex; the Amherst Building; and a high-rise office complex on Metcalfe St. In Toronto, the redesign of a 16-floor Bay and Yonge Street office building. Projects of an industrial / commercial nature include: shopping centres and engineering structures such as the 10,000-seat Aspor Auditorium near Montreal; and warehouse terminals, parking structures, airport facilities in various North American cities and the Caribbean.
